Solid

Solid resins are typically manufactured as pastilles or flakes. The pastille form reduces the amount of dust from the paper or plastic sacks commonly used to package and ship solid resins. When larger quantities of solid resins are required, they can be packaged in 750 or 1000 kg bags known as “supersacks” in the US and “big-bags” in Europe or in 900 lb Gaylord boxes. When extremely large volumes of hydrocarbon tackifier resins are required, bulk molten tank truck deliveries may be a more economical, time-saving option.
